Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon whole grain mustard (optional for texture)

2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
2. Prepare the mustard glaze:
In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard (if using), lemon juice, olive oil, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
3. Place the salmon on the baking sheet:
Pat the fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
4. Brush with the glaze:
Spoon or brush the mustard mixture evenly over the tops of the salmon fillets.
5. Bake the salmon:
Place in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on thickness.
6. Garnish and serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges. Pair with roasted vegetables, rice, or a green salad.
Tips
For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the mustard glaze for 15–20 minutes before baking.
You can broil the salmon for the last 1–2 minutes to get a golden, slightly crisp top.
Use fresh salmon for best results, but thawed frozen salmon works well too.
