Ingredienti
1 lattina (400 g) di ceci, scolati
¼ di tazza di succo di limone fresco
¼ di tazza di tahina ben mescolata
1 piccolo spicchio d'aglio, tritato
2 cucchiai di olio extravergine di oliva
½ cucchiaino di cumino macinato
Sale q.b.
2-3 cucchiai di acqua fredda o aquafaba (liquido di cottura dei ceci)
Un pizzico di paprika (facoltativo, per guarnire)

Instructions
1. Cream the tahini: In a food processor, blend tahini and lemon juice for 1 minute. Scrape down the sides and mix again for 30 seconds.
2. Add flavor: Add olive oil, garlic, cumin, and salt. Blend for 30 seconds, scrape, and blend again.
3. Add chickpeas: Blend half the chickpeas for 1 minute. Scrape in the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
4. Adjust texture: With the processor running, slowly add cold water until the hummus is creamy.
5. Taste and tweak: Adjust salt or lemon juice as needed.
6. Serve: Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika or za’atar. Enjoy with pita, veggies, or as a spread!
