Pepperoni Pizza
Classic Pepperoni Pizza with Golden Crust & Melted Mozzarella

Ingredients:

1 ball of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, about 12-inch)

1/2 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

20–25 slices of pepperoni

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)

Fresh basil or parsley (optional for garnish)

-----------------------------

Directions:

Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to form a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a pizza peel or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the dough with olive oil and spread the pizza sauce evenly over the surface, leaving a small border around the edges.

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.

Top with pepperoni slices, spacing them evenly across the pizza.

Sprinkle with oregano and chili flakes, if using.

Bake in the oven for 10–12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired, slice, and serve hot.
