Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each), skin on
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme (or fresh)
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Fresh herbs (parsley or dill, optional)
Instructions:
Preheat Grill:
Heat your grill to medium-high (around 375-400°F / 190-200°C). Lightly oil the grates.
Make Marinade:
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Prepare Salmon:
Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
Brush the marinade generously over both sides of each fillet.
Grill Salmon:
Place salmon skin-side down on the grill.
Cook for about 5-6 minutes on the skin side, then carefully flip and cook for an additional 2-4 minutes, until the flesh flakes easily with a fork (the internal temperature should be 125-130°F / 52-54°C for medium).
Serve:
Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
Serve with rice, grilled vegetables, or a fresh salad.
Tips:
If using a grill pan or stovetop, follow the same method.
Avoid overcooking-salmon continues to cook a little after being removed from the heat.
For an extra flavor boost, marinate the salmon for 15-30 minutes before grilling.
