Tortilla Rolls

Ingredients:

4 large flour tortillas (10-inch size works well)
8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or any cheese you like)
½ cup cooked chicken or turkey, finely chopped (optional for protein)
¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
¼ cup bell pepper, finely diced
¼ cup fresh spinach or lettuce, chopped
2 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, shredded cheese, chicken (if using), green onions, bell pepper, spinach, and herbs.
Season with a little salt and pepper.

2. Assemble the Rolls
Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface.
Spread an even layer of the filling over the tortilla, leaving about ½ inch border around the edges.

3. Roll Tightly
Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla up tightly like a log.
Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.

4. Chill for Best Results
Wrap each rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This makes them easier to slice.

5. Slice and Serve
Remove from the fridge, unwrap, and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels.
Arrange on a serving plate and enjoy!

Tips:

You can swap chicken for ham, turkey, or keep it vegetarian.
Add a bit of salsa, jalapeños, or hot sauce if you like a spicy version.
These are great for picnics, lunchboxes, or party platters.
